- Before retaining anyone, confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing with the law society of the province or territory where your matter will be handled. Every provincial law society keeps a free public register you can check.
- What do featured listings mean?
- Featured placements are paid placements. Featured status does not indicate quality, endorsement or verification of credentials, and it is always labelled separately from regular listings.
